How should i overclock my new desktop ?

Specs:

Graphics Card : Evga GTX 690

CPU : Intel i7 3930k

Motherboard : Asus P9X79 PRO

Case: Corsair Graphite Series 600TM Mid-Tower ATX P

Power Supply : Corsair Professional Series Gold 1200 Watt CMPSU-1200AX

I'm thinking about buying the H100 cooler from corsair but I'm not really sure, are there any better options ?

Hi,

The Corsair H100 is a great cooler, another option is the noctua NH-D14, if you wanted better cooling performance than custom water would be the way to go.

Apart from that read some overclocking guides (plenty out there) and have fun.

Sorry, I live in the UK and don't know of any U.S based watercooling E-tailors so I wouldn't be the best person to advice you on good deals ETC... Though I would say $200 probably wouldn't be enough.

I'm sure someone else will come along and recommend some bargains for you
