Low Base Clock and High Multiplier

I have an Intel i5-3570K. Could I potentially set my base clock really low and then multiplier for my memory and CPU higher so that my minimum clock is slower. Would this work?

Hi,

No in a word, the BLCK or base clock influences the CPU clock but also the memory usb ports, sata ports ETC... so even changing it by a small amount can cause serious issues.

Leave it at 100 and play with the multi.
