I'm building a PC with:
Asus P7P55D-E LX motherboard,
Intel i7 860
G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL 2x2GB
EVGA GTX460
Antec Earthwatts 750w power supply

When i go to install Windows 7 its boots successfully, loads the setup files, and then freezes on the screen that says starting windows. I have tried installing from a USB and DVD drive. I have tried setting to the storage settings to IDE and AHCI. I have tried disabling all unnecessary hardware in the bios. I have also updated the bios to the latest version. No mater what settings I try the windows setup always freezes at the same point. Any ideas?

Did you connect the supplementary power cables for the video card?
Set in BIOS the RAM voltage to the one specified by the manufacturer (a lot of G Skill RAM is 1.65V but check that before changing the voltage).
Try some other SATA port.
Remove on stick of RAM if it doesn't work.
