(I have a copy of window 7 64bit)

well my budget is really about $3000 but I do not want to spend that much on a desktop I know I will use to play certain games/work. I know my RAM is a bit more expensive compare to orc 6 gbs of ram but I wanted to go with corsair.

Can't say for sure .... if you have a hyper-212 it shouldn't ...

Ram goes in staggered slots so if you start with furthest slot from cpu then shouldn't come close.

That isn't the only CAS7 1600 kit out there ... it is prolly the cheapest "good" ram for that board, tho.

I know ... not a great answer. RAM is easy to RMA ... That kit is what I would buy. I expect no probs. One bold dude did say that he sawed off the offending tine on one of his modules ... I wouldn't. I wouldn't let one reviewer out of 40 scare me off, either.

Your decision ... my reasoning is that if it were that big of a prob, they would have discontinued the part long ago ... that has been a popular kit for a long time. I have not heard any flood of complaints or seen any preponderance of poor reviews ... The reviews are largely shining ... are they not ?

But it is your time and money so, I'll say that I cannot guarantee that it won't get in the way. All I can say is that those sinks (spreaders) will do a great job if all fits ... And that you should start with the furthest slot from CPU and leave empty slots between the sticks.

very cool ... I just got finished reading ALL the reviews ... Looks like most detracrors are saying that it does work with *their* cooler but they worry it might not work with other coolers.

I (also) would risk it ... Drop them in an overnight envelope ... worst case.
