EVGA E758-A1 motherboard and ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2

Hello everyone. I am building a system around the EVGA E758-A1 motherboard and ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 CPU fan. After reading the MB specs, reviews, and looking at several dozen pictures it seems like the MB tight architecture may or may not allow much room to fit a CPU fan as large as the Freezer 7 Pro.

So here are the obvious questions:

1. Did anyone else build a machine with matching configurations? And was it difficult to fit the AC 7 pro CPU fan in there due to Intel X58 Chipset's close proximity to the CPU socket?

2. Given that I will not be overclocking the CPU, is the stock fan enough to keep CPU's temperature low enough?

3. Can I fit any other relatively good cpu coolers with ease?

Thanks.

  1. 2. Absolutely. People get third-party coolers usually because they want to overclock and need extra cooling to keep the temps low.
