If possible, get a trusted quality power supply like Antec, Corsair, or PC power and cooling. I'm not sure how good Cooler Master power supplies are. Also, what cas latency is your memory? What company are your hard drives?

It looks as if he built the PC already, so kind of to late for recommendations

The 5770 is a temporary. Had to wait a little while on the one that I wanted. Wife and kids wanted things and it drained me for a short while. It handles Crysis well though. I will be getting the 5850 soon though. Drives are Seagate sata II's 7200's don't remember what model exactly but they are not the green versions. Read too many issues with them. Turned up on high settings and it has no issues. Good guess on the monitor. I am running on a 1080 monitor. Haven't had any issues with the power supply. I watch the voltages on a widget. They are steady. Of course I do have it on a 1000w battery backup unit to eliminate any household/power grid interference. This probably helps considerably. power sags and the likes in the area.
