I want to get rid of window XP's ICS in this setup:

wirelessprovider -> WAP -> ICS -> switch -> computer1
|-> computer2
|-> VOIP

WAP = wireless access point
Ideally, I'd like to connect WAP up to a router's WAN port.

Surely computers 1 and 2 are sharing the Internet connection and so need the ICS Service to be enabled and running in both machines. The ICS Service also supports some of the functionality of the Windows Firewall.

The problem is the computers cannot browse all web addresses. Certain ones do not respond. I am looking at replacing ICS with a proxy server. I really want to get rid of the computer that houses ICS and connect the WAN port of my router to a WAP.
