hey all, i am attempting to build my first system from the ground up. here is a list of the parts i plan on using. any thoughts? suggestions?

I never did this before so if you notice any glaring incompatibility issues let me know. I think it should all work together. Let me know what you think!
 
CPU/Mobo: X4 635 and same board $230. Cheaper and gets you a better CPU (it's a newer version).

Case/PSU: Antec 300 Illusion and Earthwatts 650W $130. Get a better case for the same price.

HDD: Seagate 7200.12 500 GB $55. A faster, quieter and cooler drive. If 500 GB is too small, it comes in a 1 TB version too.

RAM: I would get either the RAM: 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 version for a little more, or get the 1333 mhz CL 7 version for the same price. The 1600 mhz sticks would be better for overclocking.
