Hi,

Looking for the best heatsink for a 4.5GHz OC on the 3770k. Post your suggestions. I feel as if a 212 EVO is too simple.

Have you decided yet? Are you set on air coolers?

I'm not sure what's best..
I have a Corsair H100 with Push&Pull
I have my i7 3770k at 4.2 Ghz so far (haven't OC'd, will be OCíng more in the future)
I keeps me at max ~65 C during Prime95

I hope this helps a bit

I posted a similar question in the water cooling forum, everyone said don't get a water cooler, so I am interested to see what other suggest for an air cooler

Noctua NH-D14

Panteks PH-TC14PE < I have the orange version

I own both of these and they are pretty much equal in cooling ability.

I'm running the Noctua and the Phanteks on my machines and they are in a dead heat as far as performance.

I wouldn't know about ebay pricing,i buy from newegg and frozencpu.

Overclock is one of many opinions out there. As an owner of both i would say they are almost equal.
