  1. Thermal paste should fill it and you shouldn't see anything drastic go on with your temp.
  2. just one question, is my cpu fan installed right?

its like that on the cooler
  3. Yeah, you want to push air across the heatsink.
  4. ah ok thx, was just wondering cause after 20 runs of IBT standard

    1.368 max vcore 4.0 ghz fx-6100
    idle socket temp is 33c
    socket temp 57c max
    core temp 45c max

they seem a little high for this cooler( scythe ninja 3 )
  5. I have little experience with scythe products, but minor scratches will not raise temps noticeably.
  6. 1.368 max vcore 4.0 ghz fx-6100 < FX are hot chips those temps are normal
  7. thanks, just checking.

my pc shuts itself down when socket temp hits 63-64c =(
  8. my pc shuts itself down when socket temp hits 63-64c =( < that's to prevent damage to your computer.
  9. 63-64c =( too hot for an FX chip be careful not to damage your system
  10. 63c SOCKET TEMP
the cores are 48-50c when it happens
  11. it shows max temp of 70c

isnt that the max safe core temp?
  12. it shows max temp of 70c < Max and you want to stay well away from that on an FX cpu...MY fx8120 on my other computer never goes above 50.
