Ok so I am just about to purchase an ATI 5850 gfx card for my comp, but I'm curious if my PSU will have enough juice to comfortably power it, specs are as follows.

Gigabyte P31-S3G Mobo
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (OC'd to 3.2Ghz)
4GB Gskill RAM
1 Sata 7200 RPM HD
1 DVD-RW Drive
Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous
Output (+3.3V@28A, +5V@26A, +12V1@22A, +12V2@22A,
+12V3@25A, -12V@0.5A, +5VSB@2.5A)

Can I run it or will I be pushing it? Oh I will also be upgrading to an intel i5-750 lynnfield too, soon after the vid card, now the calc at extreme power supply says I will be well under 550W (Says I would need around 300W) but I just wanted to double check here to make sure I didn't over look anything.

You can use this to "do the math" for you to see if any future changes warrant an upgrade.

The BP Series is Antec's most "basiq" or no frills line.....should serve fine as you have plenty of headroom. While I might try an EA-550 with a 2nd GFX card, I wouldn't with the BP series.
