Dell Precision 650 Workstation

Hi, I came acros a Dell Precision 650 Workstation on craigslist for 125$
it has 2! xeon cpus @ 2.8ghz and i want to know if its worth it

im thinking about building one but this would be much cheaper and do you think its worth it!

i am planing on using it 3 video editing, gaming and maybe as a htpc

Wait a moment please.
$125 is about €80...hmmmm...
It is quite acceptable if it is in good condition, but please be careful in buying old used systems, it is like buying a cat in a bag, even if it looks good from the outside (being cleaned, etc.).
Please also don't expect too much from old systems, you still might have to upgrade some of the parts.

Care to consider pop corn hour or WD TV HD for low budget htpc (no editing of course)?

Precision 650 = ancient
Xeon = Pentium 4
no PCIe = no compatibility with any GPUs released after 2007

It might do if you just need a basic machine but don't expect much more than that.
