Hi, Ive been in the mist of buying a unit from craigslist or ebay etc. It's been over 3 months and still nothing. I might as well build one my self (its my first build). I have a budget of 500-600. The sources i would be buying from or looking @ New-egg,amazon,(ebay, might save couple dollars). The purpose for this computer is for music production. Ill be using cu base 5, ill be using vsti such as east west, toon track superior drummer, trillian etc. (To give you guys more of a visual) Ill be running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
Tomorrow ill look around for parts, prices, I just realize am better off of building my own unit.

As far as the mobo goes. I would like to get .....
500 gig hard drive
Graphics card. (I won't be doing any gaming, cheap one will be neat)
Motherboard (i need fire wire on it)
RAM (4-gigs) ddr2
Case (i need a case with good air flow)

Any suggestions , references....

Wow 500 USD for everything? This is tough...it will take some time to do the research.. I don't know if you going to get good quality goods though..even with an onboard graphic card....
I don't even see if it is possible if you still have to buy the win 7 x64.....
4 gigs DDR3 ram is already over 100USD
Intel quad is also over 100USD
mobo with onboard graphic is about 80-120 USD
Windows 7 home x64 .......
casing........cooler master with good air circulation you say......
HDD.......
Drive......
PSU....
You mentioned heat sink, which I assume non stock.......
All new things? care to get used or refurbished components?
WOW! Can someone please help this guy?

I own the os already, the case does not need to be coolermaster, (as long as it has good air flow). Whats the technical issue of using refurbished components? The ram could be dd2 ...... if it lowers the cost .

So there you go...

No Intel Quad
No OS

You have updated your post.. which makes it possible..or easier to realize

Sorry it took a little long to reply. I have to do some calculation first.

( I lied)

My new HD5850, new PSU, and (finally) my new SSD came just a while ago...I was busy because of those... I am happy :D
Now I have to figure out, what I am going to do with my old HIS HD3850 IceQ4 Turbo 512MB, and my Corsair VX450W.... :D
Decent upgrade after about 2 years. :D
I think I will give them to my brother.

????
I have already given you a complete spec, why are you still writing that you need a proc and ram?

Just change from what I have given you if it feels necessary.
