I just picked up a DOA motherboard from newegg, and I'm considering returning it, instead of replacing it with the same model. I'm willing to spend a little bit more than I had previously invested, I'm now considering a motherboard of up to about $250. The rest of the rig is as follows:

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 955 BE AM3
RAM: 8GB G. Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600
Video Card: Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 6850
Storage is a 500/500 Raid Array
