Hi! I'm having a little trouble overclocking my Phenom 965 - its originally clocked to 3.4Ghz and i've only managed to get it to 3.8Ghz with a 18.5 multiplier. It just won't go past 3.8 - If I up the vcc a notch and try to push it further, it will just blue screen. That's a pretty poor overclock even for air and i'm running a custom watercooling loop with 3 rads, one of which is a monster.

I've overclocked my 480 to 910mhz from 700 and thats as far as it would go (bit disappointed) and i've maxed out the voltage on msi afterburner to 1138mV.

The problem i've got is that in the bios I can't manually change the vcc, I have to change the voltages in amd overdrive and apparently people have some problems with voltages appearing as one figure in overdrive and another figure in the bios.

I think the problem probably lies with the psu, i've got a GX-550W psu http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6641 and I don't think I have enough power to sustain a decent overclock.

First Off:

Your motherboard should be BIOS Flashed to version 1.F, Is It?

List your full specs in detail, brand name, model #s, etc.
