Extending partition to the left with diskpart

I'm looking for the command set that lets you extend to the left with diskpart. I know it can be done, but I can't seem to find the article I used before. Yes i know I could use something like gparted to do it, but knowing it can be done with diskpart and not remembering how bothers mea bit lol. Thanks!

I do not recall being able to do this with diskpart. Are you sure it's possible? If you find the article, please post a link to it as I'm curious as to how it's done.

Yeah i was dual booting linux and win7, deleted the linux part (wasnt compatible with one of the games i played regularly ) and was gonna extend the win 7 part (to the right of the newly freed space). Found an article on doing it with diskpart and it worked, but my memory sucks and i cant remember how i did it. Ill def link it if i find it though.

Can you do it in Disk Management?

In Windows: start/computer/right-click/manage/disk management/right click on partition/expand....

Nope, since its empty space then part and not part then empty space disk management wont do it. Expand is greyed out. It can be done in command line with diskpart, but there is a certain way you have to do it. I just cant remember lol.
