Depends on the ram. Some 4850s have 1 gig if I am not mistaken which will affect performance.

Yea thats a good point i forgot to notice werxen, starges are they 512 or 1gb versions? or are both the same? What resolution you gaming on?

Both 512mb.

Am using a 17' crt (yeah... i know), so am gaming at 1024x768.
Atill haven't found a good 19''-22'' lcd under $180.

Look at a AOC 2236vw i think it is, rocking on one now, great monitor, full hd, only thing it doesnt have is speakers and HDMI.
If both are 512mb, just go for the cheapest one

I rock the sapphire one in my rig right now and it has not let me down - granted I also put in an aftermarket zalman all copper heatsink. If they both have equal ram - go cheaper. If you plan on keeping this card for awhile - get the 1 gig version of the 4850 and save yourself the hassle of being disappointed in the future. I game at 1080 resolution and this 512 megs of ram really kills my AA and AF abilities. Beyond that it still kills everything I throw at it.

Hmm expensive there... 164US, i can get in new zealand for like 220NZD 155USD, ok not that much more lol, umm good monitor, only thing apart from above is edge lighting affect you know, how brighter at bezels, but only noticable on black screen
