Hey, i recently bought a new computer in parts. After putting it together i realized it was very slow and i suspect my hard drive, a Corsair Nova 60GB.

At first i usually got the error message
"A disk read error occured
press Crtl+Alt+Del to restart"

But after reinstalling Win 7 with ACHI settings that error dissappeard (still get it when turning back to IDE). But it is still VERY slow, this is the results when testing it on HD Tune

Witch shows the terrible behavier even if it reaches 200 MB/s at times.

Should i send it back? Anyone get any good ideas for changing some settings?
I got the tips to do a low level formatting on the disk, it's a problem since i don't have another desktop computer or disks..
