Put new fan into my computer

I recently got a Zalman ZM-F1RL 80mm led case fan to replace my nzxt fan. After puting the new fan into my case my computer has been going very slow, also when i put my new fan in i cut the other one out because i was not able figure out how to disconnect it ( only cut the cable that the was on old fan ).

Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA3 Hard Drive
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 OC 2G DDR5 PCI-E Video card
Acbel IPower G600 550W (Max 600W) 80Plus Power Supply
NZXT Blackline Lexa
Windows 7

Does anyone know how to fix this also is it a problim the way in removed old fan. ( new fan used different connector a 3 pin plug, old used a 4 pin plug )

YOu should have just unplugged it, you could be shorting something.
