P7P55-E PRO or GA-X58-UD3 ATX ????

Hi,
I had finalized my system build around an i5-750 CPU and an Asus P7P55-E PRO MOBO. But stuff happened, and I had to put off the whole thing for a while. Now looking at it fresh I’m wondering if the i7-920 / 930 and a Gigabyte GA-X58-UD3 ATX might not be a better deal. I like the Asus board, but I’m not crazy about the Gigabyte board. It seems a little utilitarian. I want the Sata 6.0 and the USB 3.0. The Asus P6X58D–E was lackluster and $40 too much. The P6X58D Premium board was just too damn expensive. What do you guys think?

Hey :)
Well the advantages of a X58 build over a P55 is that 1_Socket 1356 CPUs usually OC better,2_16x SLI/CF support(although the difference between dual 8x and 16x isn't much)
3_Future CPU support
On the other hand, however P55 builds cost less.
So although the difference isn't much, IMO go for the X58 build.
