Bios dont detect IDE CD/DVD drive

The first thing to check is that all connections (power and date) are good, and try swapping out the IDE cable if you can. Try easy troubleshooting before the hard stuff.

Yup, make sure all the cables are properly connected and try swap your cable (power/SATA) with another one...
Or try your Hard Drive in another computer, see whether the PC detected the drive or not...
