Hello,
my memory slot one, I believe is defective can I use memory slot B1 and A2 for dual? Instead of A1/B1. I have p7p55d

For dual channel would be in slots A2/B2. If you put them in A2/B1 it will run in single channel.

Thanks for your response. I understand what you are stating but will it operate as well as in A1/B1. I'm trying to use both sticks of memory. Right now, only one memroy is being used. Thanks again. please advise...
