Ok so i just bought a Intel SSD to run my operating system and run certain programs off. I have made recovery CDs, so I booted from disk, foramtted the drive and now i have 3 options, they are as follows::

Recover Windows to first partition only (default)

Recover windows to entire HDD with two partitions (which requires greater than 80gb drive, mine is a 80gb SSD)

Recover windows to entire HDD

So what option do i pick, keep in mind i want to run the operatingsystem of this SSD and run some programs

Thanks!!

I'm afraid that the answer is that the best thing to do is a complete fresh install. Recall that SSDs work best installed with the controller in AHCI mode, and with Win7.

My best guess is to recover windows to the entire HDD, then just use the old drive's second partition as your data drive. If this is a notebook with only room for one drive, that would be another kettle of fish.
