A nice mid-tower case, hold the cheap bling

Hi,
I am in the process of selecting components for a new PC. I am looking at cases. I found one that I like, the Corsair Obsidian 800D. But at nearly $300 it is beyond expensive, it is in the stupid category. I like that it has a separate enclosure for the power supply. I like the look, the cable routing grommets, and the general attention to detail. The Cooler Master 690 II advanced is also a possibility. Can anyone suggest a mid-tower case that is similar to the Corsair but in the $100 neighborhood?

How about the HAF 922 or Antec 900?

The Obsidian 800D is actually a full tower which puts it much close in size to something like the HAF 932 or the Antec 1200, both of which are a hell of a lot cheaper.

i have the cm 690 II, and i have to recommend it. cable management is great and the airflow is superb. it's small enough to be reasonable but big enough to handle large cpu coolers and huge video cards. great case.

Hi,
Yes, I know it is a full size tower. I was using it as an example of the features that I like. A mid-Tower version of the Obsidian 800D in the $100 range would be a great buy in my view. Thanks.

Hi,
I like most things about cm 690 II. I am concerned in there use of plastic to secure the cards and drives. Perhaps it just my taste, but a metal screw seems much more secure.

Hi,
I agree; it is very subjective. Another case I forgot to mention was the Cooler Master Sniper. A case with a handle (to pick it up with) is a really nice feature. I has a good size and a nice fan controll.
