Price range: $<500
Use: Gaming on 22 inch monitor, first build, planning on upgrading soon after
OC'ing: Yes

Please can you list a parts suggestion!
Thanks in advance.

This is what I think I am going to get so far;
AMD Athlon II X2 240 Regor 2.8GHz
ASRock M3A770DE
SAPPHIRE Radeon 4670 1GB
G.SKILL 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB HDD
LOGISYS Computer Area 51 ATX Mid Tower Computer Case + 480W Power Supply
Sony Optiarc 24X DVD/CD Drive
Windows 7 HP 64 bit

Hmm ok how about holding off a GPU? HD 4670 you'd have to tone down to 1280 x 1024//1440 x 900 but if thats fine then a suggested config

MicroATX case a nono. I plan on upgrading to things like a GTX260 (with little room to spare of course). I guess I should get something better than a 4670. Is a 4770 decent. Is the RAM you listed faster than what I had on my list?
Thanks

Let me rephrase what I said. I am not spending $200+ to upgrade soon after (no 5850 for me :/). At most maybe $100. I don't want a GTX260 I just want a case that is able to fit one. With an on-board GPU how well does it play games? Crysis on low maybe? Also I need a cheap case that is decent built (decent enough that it does not arrive cracked on arrival), for $<40 what is a decent case?

What has worked for me: buy on ebay

I have a Q6700, 4GB Ram, 500GB HD, HD4670 that I bought off of ebay (minus the 4670) for just over $400, and that included a 22" monitor. Throw in a decent card and a better PSU and your current build couldn't come close to that at all, especially since I bought mine over Xmas and prices have gone down a bit since then.
