Crucial's website does not have Crosshair IV Extreme listed :(

Does anyone know what is the best RAM? The Asus website has a QVL (qualified vendors list) but the highest configuration I saw was 4 x 2GB (8GB)... that's lame since the specs. on their website list max RAM of 16GB.

I was thinking of getting this RAM:

G.SKILL Flare Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model F3-16000CL9D-8GBFL
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

or this

Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BA1339
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

What do you think?

Also... does this board support nVidia cards and SLI?

Thanks,
Max

I'm having the same problem. Didn't find the answer yet. I'm looking at these right now but would like to get better, if possible.

G.Skill
F3-16000CL7D-4GBFLS
or
F3-16000CL7Q-8GBFLS

I'd like to try this :)

Found someone that tested it, " The RAM was swaped out for some G.Skill Flare series DDR3-2000 sticks rated to run at 7-9-7-24...". You'll have to check our the article, if I remember correctly, he OC'd it at over 5.5Ghz
