Could my i5 run well with the latest GTA(lost&denied)

Guys,this its the specs of my new computer please tell me ,it would be great if you could tell me if it could run well with the lastest GTA

hp smarttouch
intel core i5-430M(2.26GHz)
3MB L3 Cache
4GB DDR3 1066MHz(2X2GB)
NVIDIA Geforce GT 230 1G

GTA is not an optimized game for the PC. Even a computer costing 2x - 3x more than your computer can struggle with the gaming from time to time.

Your major bottleneck is the GeForce GT 230, it's not much of a gaming card. If you wanna stick with nVidia, then I would suggest a GTX 260.

+1^ GTA is a poorly optimized game,however i think you can run it fine on medium-low settings with a low resolution.

the OP has a notebook and upgrading a GT 230M to a GTX 260M or anything else isn't possible

GTA is a poorly coded game, just like jaguarskx said and since you already has a laptop then you couldn't do anything to upgrade the gpu, it's integrated with the board...

if i may suggest, if you gonna get another laptop for gaming then why not just a get a desktop? less money and more performance.

ummm basically ..hp smart touch is a kinda of desktop computer.i mean .it jsut combines the screen with the body. and thats the adventage i want to take of ..more space at home ...

and one more question .if i am gonna buy a computer(desktop)for gaming like GTA (med-high) ...any suggestion ?

There will be plenty of suggestions once you decide to go for it.. And i think its recommended also, that you get a desktop for gaming and keep your laptop for work..

Even if you get a high-end desktop for gaming,you still may have to lower some settings down in GTA,because like i said its poorly optimized
