Hello,
im undecided on which route to go
building a new gaming machine on a budget amd or intel

so im looking at an i3 530 or maybe go cheaper say amd? maybe athlon x 3 440? , i plan on overclocking and using single gpu. might get 5830

so is the extra for the i3 530 worth it over an x3 440?

Amd one will last longer. You can upgrade to bulldozer when it comes out. Intel you cant. Will cost alot later.
