Hello, My girl friend has a toshiba laptop which does stay powered even when you plug it into the outlet. I removed the battery and it still does this. What should i do besides buying a new laptop? Help.

err, isn't normal when a laptop stay ON when it got power from the outlet? I don't know about that, but i guess what you've done is dangerous, you could broke her laptop if you keep doing that thing...
ummm. yeah arent laptop supposed to be on when theyre plugged in? DONT REMOVE THE BATTERY WHILE ITS ON AND PLUGGED IN! please be a tad more specific...
Sorry; What meant to say is the toshiba is plugged in while it's on on the power still goes down & drains. It will then shut down. I thought that if it's plugged in power should stay up. It has message that says laptop plugged in (to ac) & not charging.
