Please excuse my english, last time I built a system was a Pentium 133!!!! Its been a long time since Ive done this, its all new right now Sata, what happened to SCSI? What has happened to grapics cards, it was Matrox and Ati, The speaker isn't doing anything, the board powers up, fans come on even on the card, hard disk makes noise. Would I be able to get this far with a dodgy / uncorrectly installed processor? I have tried other cards, no result Any more advise would be helpful?!!!?!!! After what point of testing would you say the motherboards faulty? jsc a c 122 B Homebuilt system April 4, 2010 4:30:05 PM You POST before you boot. If the hard drive were the problem, you would still have heard the beep. scampy_008 April 4, 2010 8:30:22 PM I will get my processor and card tested, let you know what happens Any other reasons why no beeps? SakSak April 5, 2010 1:12:24 AM You said "On Power up no beeps at all " Are you sure you even have a system speaker? Not all motherboards and/or cases come with one as default. I admit I don't know if Asus P6TD deluxe comes with one or not. scampy_008 April 6, 2010 6:50:36 AM HI There, update time, The board doesn't have one on-board I took mine out of my tower and connected to the board. Its probably looking like a faulty processor at the moment, got someone coming over to help me out.... LED lights come on cpu fan spins then stops, hard rive makes some kinda noise, graphics card fan powers up, Cleared the cmos still nothing jsc a c 122 B Homebuilt system April 9, 2010 8:53:25 AM It's probably not the CPU. CPU's are surprisingly rugged. The usual suspect is the PSU. System specs? Just because fans and LED's come does not mean that the PSU is good. scampy_008 April 11, 2010 10:06:21 PM Ive sent the cpu to my local computer shop to get it tested, The Board is an Asus P6TD deluxe with an intel i7 920 socket 1366 running an a basic graphics card, 200gb hardrive, sony dvd rw, 1gb ddr3 ram, sata connections. Lg 23" Screen Ive been testing a few different set-ups now, I know its either the board or the cpu, everything alse has been tested on other set-ups and is working. bsodwin April 14, 2010 10:59:08 AM It must be the board or RAM http://bsodwin.spaces.live.com/ Devam April 14, 2010 11:42:09 AM scampy_008 said:Ive sent the cpu to my local computer shop to get it tested, The Board is an Asus P6TD deluxe with an intel i7 920 socket 1366 running an a basic graphics card, 200gb hardrive, sony dvd rw, 1gb ddr3 ram, sata connections.
