CPU Cooler Help.

I have an i5 2500k at stock 3.3Ghz speed. I am wanting to overclock it now so I have been looking at some aftermarket CPU fan/heatsink. I am worried about the size of this because when looking inside my case and where the CPU is, it doesn't look like I have much room.

Here is the CPU cooler I am looking at. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099

Does anyone else have this same setup or know for sure if this will fit?

Thanks for the help.

  1. Evo is 6.2 inches high

Your case is 8.1 inches wide

    It will fit!
  2. The Xigmatek Gaia is only $20 right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233082 and cools within 1C of the Crappermaster per Frostytech reviews. It is also quieter. I have two of them, and it keeps my overclocked AMD 970BE nice and cool; I haven't checked in a while but I think I hit 42C during some games (idle at 29C-32C depending on season). Why spend more?
