probably a big typo, as the 256 is worth more than it apparently

Probably an old controller'd SSD.

Maybe not an M4, although it's listed as one.

Have to look at the details, but I'm not logging into any site like that.

I did click on the link to the store, and it's actually a 128GB drive!

It is an error. When I clicked on the link for the very low prices they were for the Crucial m4 128GB ssd. They were not for the 512GB models.

The last two days there have been quite a few sale prices for the Crucial m4.

500GB ssd's have been available for desktop pc's for a long time but they are very very expensive:

well i presume is going to go a litle lower in december and maybe by that time the 1tb will come out..
