Upgrading Laptop IGP

Just wondering if anyone has experience with upgrading a laptops GPU?
I have a Gateway t-1625 and the X1270 in it is really holding it back, wonder if a cheap dedicated graphics card would be extremely hard to install or not.

Generally only a few "higher end" laptops is capable of having it's graphics card upgraded. It must have a MXM-I, MXM-II or MXM-III interface.
