Appropriate CPU and Mobo upgrade for new GTC470

This is my first post here (after reading the stickies), so apologies if I get the phrasing wrong.

I have pretty much settled on getting a GTX 470 for my gaming needs and want to upgrade the rest of my rig to a similar level to remove any performance bottlenecks. I would love to know what components (MoBo, CPU, Memory and power supply) I should upgrade or flat out replace.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

  1. I would list a budget first. Then list your ram brand and speed, and decide if you want to reuse it. Also list your power supply specs. You might be able to reuse that also.
