Does GPU overclocking affect other component?

got my phantom 410 case for 5 days. My fan cases control suddenly stop working and all the case fan stops working. I overclocked my hd 7950 to 1150/1550 @ 1.25V. I don't know if this is the consequence of overclocking or I just get a defective case. I'm doing an exchange with newegg right now but would like to get some insight to avoid it in the future. One day i turn my computer on and all the fans would just stop spinning... I have already check the PSU. everything else seems to be perfectly normal. Temperature is good. max at 68C, idea at 30C for GPU.

Hi,

So your fan controller on your case died?

The only components overclocking will effect is the PSU and the graphics card (obviously).
