Is 600W enough for this?

Hi to all

I'm just wondering if my 600w power supply can handle the following things that I want to upgrade my pc with.
At the moment here's my current pc specs:

intel i7 930 2.8 ghz quad core processer
G.skill 6gb RAM (3 x 2) DDR 3 (2000mhz)
XFX ATI Radeon 1gb HD 5770 Graphics
1TB HDD 7200 RPM
ASRock X58 Extreem Motherboard
x1 DVD drive
19 inch LCD screen with 1366 x 768 resolution
The case has got x2 120mm fans
8 USB ports (2.0)
and of course the 600W power supply

At the moment my pc is running fine with all of that however I want to buy another ati 5770 video card with crossfirex and i want to overclock my cpu at 4ghz and I'm wondering if my power supply can handle that? according to this website it says that my current watt usage is 405 (with cpu and system load at 100%) and when I add in the overclock details and the dual crossfire video cards option it says that i need at least 544W (and that's also with a water cooling system and having the cpu and system load at 100%) and the bottom line is do you think my 600W power supply would be able to handle that like the website says or would I need to buy a bigger power supply, because I just want to see if the website is accurately telling me if it's ok and I just want your guys opionions whether you think it is ok or not.

More about 600w this
  1. It should be enough. The power supply requirement is 600 Watt and two 6-pin connectors. Anyway, if you tell us the model of your PSU, I could give you a more specific answer.
  2. The brand of my PSU is CoolerMaster Silent Pro M600 and has got M/B 20+4 Pin Connector x 1
    CPU 4+4 Pin x 1
    4 Pin Peripheral x 5
    SATA x 9
    4 Pin Floppy x 1
  3. You have a high quality PSU. It provides much more power than enough to run two 5770 in CF and an overclocked 930.
You won't have any problem at all.
  4. yep i agree
  5. sorry about not replying back straight away but thanks for the advice!
