Zotac geforce 512mb vs EVGA GeForce 7950GT 512MB

Hello,
I recently found 2 buys for dirt cheap. I want to put this on one of my old pc's.

zotac geforce 512mb vs EVGA GeForce 7950GT 512MB

I was wondering which one is better?
The 7 series has a faster core.
while the 8series has a slower core but comes with directx 10.

The 8 series does not have a weaker core. It's core clock is slower but it has more parallel processors, so it is a faster card.
And, yes, we will need to know what model of card it is, not just 8-series. For example, a 8400gs is way slower than a 7950.
