Should I upgrade from a GTX 260?

I currently have a GTX 260, and a C2D 8400 @ 3.8ghz, 4gig ram. Just got Metro 2033 and it's a little sluggish on high settings. I like to run games maxed out settings and AF and AA at 1680 x 1050. Would it pay to upgrade my graphics card and/or get a quad core?

Quad Core would probably help more honestly. I think there were a few benches on Metro 2033 but unless you are willing to shell out $700 for a 5970, you're not upgrading significantly. I would just wait honestly.

An HD5850 would offer much better performance ($310), with an HD5870 nearly doubling it.

An E8400 is one of the best C2D processor out there, just keep it for now. Especially with your high OC.

Thanks. Read some good reviews and I'll look into buying the HD5850 or 5870 in the next week or two.
