Win8 Preview BSODs @ 'Getting devices ready 69%'

After the initial installation sequence, OS restarts, runs through a few things then gets to "Getting devices ready" and BSODs at 69% every time. I'm attempting to install using VMware Player. I've tried installing under the "Windows 7 64-bit" option and the "Other 64-bit OS" option; have changed the hardware settings to be more than sufficient; have tried disabling all unnecessary devices before installation. Can't seem to get it to finish the devices sequence...

Wow, now this just makes BSOD's designs look like it was made by 3rd graders lol
