  2. I checked Crucial's memory configurator for my motherboard and they confirmed this as being compatible http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148262&Tpk=Crucial%20CT2KIT25664BA1339. If I pick up two kits I can get 8gb for $92. What do you guys think?
  3. Without heat speaders 2 kits will get toasty... Penny wise thing.

I don't plan overclocking the RAM though so will the heat spreaders really make a difference?
  5. Don't know, 2X2GB run cooler than 2X4GB. Also, keep in mind 2X4GB is more efficient than 2 sets of 2X2GB. Running the RAM above 1066 MHz 'is' OC and if you OC your CPU and run hours of gaming then it's nothing that I would do... Contact Crucial and get their take on this situation.

    It's at your own risk.
  6. Alright, I got a confirmation saying the Mushkin RAM will work with my motherboard, they are 2x4gb and include heat spreaders. I also found them on sale for $94. The Crucial RAM was $96 when you added on the shipping and handling costs. So I think I'm going with the Mushkin RAM, thanks for all the help, greatly appreciated. :)
  7. Good Luck! :)
