Hello.
Lately, for about a month, my internet has been slowing down, each day slightly worse than the last.
At first, it wasn't noticeable, but now i have a download speed of less than 800kbps, even with my "high speed" internet.
I am connected wirelessly to a WRT160N Linksys router downstairs; connected to another computer, which is working fine, with speeds up to 17mbps. I already tried installing the new firmware for my router model from the linksys site, but nothing changed and my connection continues its downhill slide.
I was wondering if my router was broken, before getting a new one, if its just some hidden setting somewhere, or some other fixable issue.
Since Im into online gaming, this seriously increases lag and ping.
Both computers are running vista.

"connected to another computer, which is working fine, with speeds up

If the above is true, then I don't see how it's the router.

Something with the computer itself it seems.

The computer with the 17mbps is wired directly.
Mine is wireless. and i forgot to mention that there is a third computer; connected wirelessly to the router that's having the same problem. if it was just my computer i wouldn't blame the router
