Hmm sand thats easy I live on the beach sh@* think of all the CPU's i could make. I think I am gonna buy an island of sand once I get production up. :lol:

Reminds me of a thread from last year - Can you make a CPU using a hammer, tongs & metal - or some such ..

Anyway, stay away from the Gulf of Mexico sand, unless you want your CPU to smell of tar balls .

I read an email forward about a year ago having the same contents as this article. I strongly feel this isn't an original (whatever the claims of the website might be).
Great info anyway. I was always curious as to how a slice of silicon could do so much.
