My computers performance

I had already opened a thread on this saying about my pc's performance....

That some games like assacins creed 2 lag...

And now splintercell conviction too lags a lot in the lowest settings possible..

My riggs

Foxconn g31/mx k
Quad core q8400
3Gb ram
Hd 4850
windows xp professional

And also my mobo supports only pci 1.0
And also i had already overlocked the vga to the highest level through ATI calatyst control unit

PLEASE HELP

Did Assassins Creed 2 or Splintercell Conviction run OK before you overclocked the 4850?
Did they ever run OK?
Are there some other games that do run OK on your PC?

Have you checked to see you're not having a really bad case of malware/virus/trojan/rootkit infestation?
Try running at least 2 of the following:
Panda ActiveScan 2.0 - Free Antivirus or BitDefender Online Scanner or HouseCall - Free Online Virus Scan

Nope i just formated windows so no viruses or any thing like that...

And one of my ram is 667 2GB and the other is 800 1 GB
