Background info: I'm overclocking this 3570k w/ haf-xm, asrock z77 extreme4, h100i (stock fan pulling air out the top of case), seasonic x-850w (whine a lot probably going to RMA), prime95 small fft

Currently just changing multiplier to 44 and I'm not really sure how the auto setting for vcore works but it's only showing 1.168v in cpu-z which seems low but the temp is hovering around 86C the max was 88C toward beginning of prime95, ambient is around 25C. Temps look decent to me and might be able to clock higher?

So I haven't tried offset mode because I'm not sure how it works either.

I have set it to 1.17 and it's stable just like with auto putting it at 1.168. I've seen people post like 1.25v and only get mid 70C.

Is the voltage reader wrong on cpu-z? Is it because ambient is high? How do I use offset mode?(or if you know a good guide that shows how I'd love to read on it) Could it be the h100i not functioning correctly?

Thanks

edit: idles 1.6 with .89-.94v (on auto)

For the thermal paste, I just used the default on that was already on the h100i, I'll try playing around with the offset after I find max stable at manual volt, and I'm not likely going to delid, just not brave enough
