Dell orange power button

Hello,
my dell computer wont turn on and the power button is always orange/amber.i removed the memory and placed it on but i did not hear any beeps.please help me

what model dell do you have? Is it flashing orange or steady orange?

When a bunch of our Dell systems at work did that a few years ago, it was typically mobo failure due to bad capacitors. If you see bulging or leaking caps on your motherboard, the machine is done.

Oh it's a hardware failure of some kind but it depends on whether the light is blinking or solid and what model there might be a better way to diagnose the problem if there are other lights that flash once on the front and in what order.
