When I attempt to start my PC it just stops, I push the power button and as soon as I let go it stops. If I hold the button in it still turns off after about 3 or 4 seconds, anyone know why this would be, I can't even get into the bios?

There is a sticky thread on the topic of PCs that won't start up. A quick guess, and it's only a guess, is that you've got a short somewhere, and your PSU is shutting off to protect itself (and your system). Did you build this machine, or is it a Dell, or HP, or similar? Lots more details are needed if you hope for a useful answer.
