850 watts enough?

Is my Corsair 850 watt psu (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139011) enough to run two GTX285s? The box says SLI ready but I'm not sure if its enough. If it is enough will the PSU last for more than a year before it needs replacing?

Also, from what I can find out Nvidia now has drivers that support dual moniter SLI, or is that wrong?

but i'd imagine unless your doing allot of OCing, and voltage overclocking, that would be enough power

That PSU is one of the best PSU and it will easily handle two of those cards in SLI.

Power Consumption of a single 285 is around 205W, so two of then will need 410W.That leaves a lot of headroom.

Don't worry about longevity.It will easily run 1+ year.It is covered by 7 year warranty

Don't worry. That is a marvellous psu. You won't have any problem at all.

Not only that, if it is built like the 750TX, you will be able to pull 1 kw out of it before it electronically shuts down.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm gonna go SLI then Do I have to have anything special for dual monitors? or just the right drivers?

Nothing special for dual monitors You'll be just fine plug and playing with 2 GTX285s. Should be a good time.
