I have been having problems with the Audio Compression Management files on my
computer i accidentaly removed the codecs from the audio codec section of the
computer managment dialog and i do not know how to get them back i have tried
a million different times to get them back i have even copied the .acm files
from another computer but windows doesent want to make it easy yet again any
help would be much apreciated

Go to microsoft.com,downloads,select media (L.sub-menu),locate codecs
7.1 or later.
