Which power supply should I use?

Last response: in Components

Hey all, in the process of upgrading my rig and not sure which power supply to use

One is the Ultra Xfinity 800w (Non Modular)

The other is the Thermaltake purepower RX 600w (Modular)
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E168...

My PSU needs to power:
ASUS P5N-D mobo
E6600 2.13ghz duo core PCU
2 evga 8800gts 320mb GPUs
3 200mm case fans (Haf 922 case)
OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 4gb 800mhz RAM
as well as a dvd-rom drive, hard drive, cd-rom drive and whatever else I'm forgetting..

Hoping to get away with using the 600w modular.. what do you guys think?

how come those are your only two options? i would say the corsair 650hx, but of the two you provided, the thermaltake 600w SHOULD BE fine but still the corsair 650 watt would be better?

I was actually planning on buying a cooler master silent pro 700m some time this week because it had good reviews and is modular (I've been wanting to upgrade to modular for so long because it seems just so much easier to add/remove new parts). But my friend came by today and had the Thermaltake in his car, saying "This should work" and not to waste my money. Still, My single 8800gts was already generating a lot of heat which leads me to believe it uses a lot of power. So I thought I would double check with you guys. I have these two on hand so it's more of a budget option than anything else.

ok :)  well i think the thermaltake is better. i read reviews for the ultra: not very good. i do know that thermaltakes are at least better than ultra at least most of the time!
