Hi I want to add some USB3 and Sata 3 ports to my motherboard.

I,m looking at the ASUS US3S6

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-u3s6-2-port-sata3-(6gbps)-and-2-port-usb3-superspeed-pci-e-combo-controller-with-ncq

I have a Gigabyte EX58-UD5 and i7 920 cpu.

If I put this card in my PCIE 16x slot will I get the full bandwith of SATA3 and USB3?

Or will there be an bottlenecks to the speed.

Thanks
a c 235 V Motherboard

I would install it in the "orange" PCIe x16 slot on the board. It will operate at x8, which will not bottleneck the card. It is an x4 slot card, so you have plenty of bandwidth to spear. :)
